About Me

To start I'd love to say, thank you so much for getting to know me! I have been doing photography for about a year now and is now my full time job. Aside from photography, I love Jesus, my husband, and my two fur babies! I live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, 5 miles from the beach. I can practically smell the ocean! I live here with my husband Kristian. We married last year in 2019 and now have been married for over a year and it has been the greatest journey. Mattern is actually my third last name in my life (crazy right?). My first last name was Benoit until I was adopted by the most amazing parents, then it became Shaw, and finally I married my dream guy and then it was Mattern. Also, yes you read that right, I was adopted. I have a great adopted family who had two of their own children and then adopted ten more including myself. Not to mention I have 5 more siblings in my birth family, so that comes out to 16 siblings total that I have! It's insane, I know. try remembering birthdays! (LOL) I have two furr babies named Caliber and Ginger, both cats and they're so special and so sweet.

My most favorite Day of the week is Sunday, because, I get to spend time with my husband and go to Church to hear the Word and worship the Lord. My faith is everything to me and is the reason I am who I am today.
